If you and your family are under a PPO, and your Doctor is in the program and you, or a member of your family are in need of surgery, you might ask your Doctor if the Surgicare Facility where the surgery is to take place is also in the program!  If they are NOT a member of the PPO  program, then you might end up owing  them money in a big way!!   It is suggested that you  talk with your Doctor before the surgery takes place.  

** NEW STEWARD's **

Some say, 
"If you have a good Steward, keep him/her in there". Well think of it this way, the more people that hold this position, means more members in your shop that are educated to the previsions of your contract, and will build confidence in the tune of  'UNIONISM'! 
Another reason to rotate this job is to keep from burning out a good Steward. He/She will be ready to resume this job at a later date with the same enthusiasm  as before!
